Chad has been contributing to music education for over 25 years. He has been nominated twice for the Grammy Music Educator Award. Chad taught drumline and school band programs in Ohio and Georgia and now teaches rock band to middle school students in Nashville, TN. Chad has created unique opportunities for music students such as recording on vinyl at Third Man Records (Jack White), numerous performances at Walt Disney World, and hosting a variety of special musical guests and clinicians such as Janie Hendrix (Jimi's sister and CEO of Experience Hendrix LLC), Page Hamilton (Helmet), Beach Bunny, Jeff Coffin (Dave Matthews, Bela Fleck), Cliff Davies (Ted Nugent), and funk pioneers Regi Hargis and Jimmy Brown (Brick). Chad also took his symphonic band students from Atlanta to Ireland for a week performance tour. The group performed concerts in Limerick, Galway, Cork, and Dublin, where the group performed a co-concert with the prestigious Artane Band.
