Chad's first live performance was at the Tangiers Lounge in Akron, Ohio when he was 5 years old.  In the 1990's Chad held the drum seat in the Ohio State University Jazz Lab Ensemble for 2 years (which is unique because he wasn't a jazz major).  At age 21, he marched snare drum with the world champion Star of Indiana drumline, and made a name for himself in Ohio as drummer for the indie funk-rock band Ishkabibble.  Upon moving to Georgia in the early 2000's, Chad taught music, performed and recorded with several Atlanta-based indie artists, and even sat in as guest drummer several times for Grammy-winner Zac Brown. Now living in Nashville, Chad has performed with American Idol finalist Jessica Meuse, Kayley Hill (The Voice), songwriter David Robert King (former guitarist for Mary Gauthier) and L.A.-based keyboard guru Ed Roth.
